Earlier this year, Hansgrohe’s UK headquarters in Warwick took a major step forward in their sustainability journey by installing 212 solar panels on their roof. This project is set to save the company over £18,000 annually on electricity bills while making a significant contribution to their environmental goals. 

In 2024, Philip Dennis Foodservice took a big step towards taking advantage of their huge roof space by installing an extensive solar system across their warehouse and cold storage facilities. Recognizing the immense potential for cost savings and sustainability benefits, they partnered with us to implement the project.

In 2023, Spirit Energy installed a 315 kWp system for returning customer, Claude Fenton. This project was at their site at Theale Quarry in Berkshire. With an estimated annual output of 251,760 kWh and a massive 53 tonnes of CO2 saved each year, not only is this installation providing cheap electricity to use on site, but the excess is exported back to the grid for a profit, further decreasing the payback period for the client.

The system that Spirit Energy installed for Old Thorns Hotel & Golf Course spans three rooftops and comprises of 5 inverters and 630 JA Solar 345W panels. Overall we expect this will generate 208,419kWh annually. This installation was financed with a solar power purchase agreement, allowing Old Thorns to cut their electricity bills by half with no upfront cost.

In December, Spirit Energy installed a solar system on our office and warehouse in Reading. The array is projected to have an annual output of over 48 MWh, and save over 11 tonnes of CO₂ annually.

Spirit installed and commissioned Solar PV systems for 20 buildings spread out over Andover College, and Sparsholt College near Winchester.

In total, we installed over 2,500 solar panels across the site.

Spirit commissioned a 249.5kWp ground-mounted system for Claude Fenton Holdings in Reading. This particular system comprised of 998 x Renesola panels. The system is expected to generate 235,449 kWh per year, with payback period of 6 years.

In March 2019, Spirit installed an extensive solar PV system for Berkeley Group’s new modular homes factory in Northfleet, Kent. We were contracted by E.ON to design and commission the system, which was funded by a power purchase agreement. The array spans two trapezoidal sheet metal roofs and totals 364 kWp. The 1,325 panel system is completed by 12 Fronius inverters.

Over the course of 2 months, Spirit Energy installed a vast 491.265 kWp solar PV system at CPV Ltd in Romsey. CPV Ltd is a company based in East Wellow, Romsey who specialise in engineering pipe systems for industrial applications. They reached out to us to explore the potential of installing solar PV at their site to reinforce their sustainability credentials and reduce the carbon footprint of their operations.
