SolaX was founded in 2012 and is a global leader in photovoltaic energy storage solutions, having deployed systems across more than 130 countries. Headquartered in Hangzhou, China, the company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market in January 2024, with additional offices in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Australia, Japan, and the US. SolaX Power UK has been operating in the UK since 2014.
SolaX's main strength is its hybrid inverter range, which has been central to the company's identity since its early years, SolaX pioneered Asia's first energy storage inverter and has continued to develop the technology across successive generations. Their current G4 hybrid range supports high-voltage battery storage, Emergency Power Supply (EPS) functionality for backup power, and in some configurations off-grid operation. They also produce a growing range of complementary products including their own Triple Power battery system and EV chargers.

SolaX uses SolaX Cloud as its monitoring platform, available via browser and as a mobile app for iOS and Android. It gives a real-time view of system performance including solar generation, household consumption, grid import and export, and battery status where storage is installed. You can change inverter settings remotely, set up automated performance reports by email, and configure fault alerts so any issues are flagged promptly.
SolaX Cloud is free and included as standard with all SolaX inverters via the built-in Wi-Fi dongle.
